Hello there, greetings! ๐Ÿ‘‹

First of all, a very happy new year! May this year bring you abundant amounts of success and happiness!

Coming to the blog, this is my first blog and its going to be fairly non-technical. This blog will cover my views, my history and my plan for the next 6 months. I hope that you will stay with me till the end! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'll keep it short, 2022 is the year I take a chance on myself! For the next six months, I am going to completely devote myself in learning web development!

I know, I know....that is a bold statement to make, but hear me out, will you? I did my bachelor's in Mechanical and master's in Automobile Eng. Suffice to say, I knew very little about the coding world (โ€ฆ..more like, I didn't feel the need to learn it). I did however learn some python which played a major role(I believe) in getting me a job in one of the major truck manufacturers of the world but somewhere down the line, I realized that having a good paying comfortable job was not enough. I wanted visual stimuli....I wanted to see real time results of whatever I was doing. Enter web-development, circa 2021. Web development (more specifically: frontend) seemed like the perfect answer to my question which was: Where do I find a cocktail of tech and rgb?

I know, there might be n number of answers to my question, but frontend dev just seemed like the best possible answer to what I was looking for. So, for the next 6 months, its going to be a whole lot of HTML, CSS, JS and React. If time permits, I might throw in the whole MERN stack as well. I really want to learn Next.js and Tailwind (they sound cool, ngl ๐Ÿคญ) but we'll have to first see how things turn out with MERN...

It's 2nd Jan of 2022 and I will start my journey from today. Having known the basics of HTML, CSS and JS, I do hope the journey to be a little bit smoother but at the same time, I wont slack off, I promise! ๐Ÿ’ช

I'll try to post weekly about my journey so that you know at the end of 6 months, that whether I made it or not. Perhaps I'm writing this blog as a testament to my goal and my devotion towards it. So, that I can look back at this blog after 6 months and gauge how much I've grown. I'll try to cook the upcoming blogs with more of a technical flavor but I may also ship random stuff about manga's, new tech, my opinion about different stuff etc. With that being said, let's hope this year is kind to us all! See you next week! ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ
